CNN columnist and veteran correspondent for the New York Times and CBS news, David Andelman, meets to discuss his new book, “A Red Line in the Sand”: a detailed analysis of the global conflicts of the past five decades that have set the tone for the growth, successes, and failures of the world today.

Andelman describes the “red lines” throughout history as diplomatic and military turning points that have occured all over the world.

In conversation with the New York Times journalist and Paris correspondent, Elaine Sciolino, the two will explore the evolution and current status of red-lines, the impact of recent global crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change, and the future of transatlantic regions.
