Dance Performance & Technology

This evening will show works by Esther Manon Siddiquie, a DAAD scholarship student who created these works during her two years as graduate candidate at NYU. Additionally the evening will showcase a collaboration brought to live by Kristen Foote whose research endeavors to examine the processes involved in dance reconstructing. Esther Manon Siddiquie’s concentration in dance and technology and Kristen Footes pedagogical inquiry have brought them together to collaborate on co-developing a digital, teaching tool using 3-D motion capture technology that will be presented.
