| Join Neue Galerie tonight, October 23, at 5 PM Eastern Time, for the debut performance of Works in Progress, a virtual concert series featuring students and alumni of The Perlman Music Program. The concert program includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Paganini, and Rachmaninoff, performed by musicians near and far: Christy Choi (Tenafly, NJ), Kaliya Kalcheva (Waterloo, Belgium), Liav Kerbel (Waterloo, Belgium), Luis Ortiz (Haverhill, MA), Joseph Skerik (Cleveland, OH), Keila Wakao (Newton, MA), and Eliana Yang (Philadelphia, PA).
All of us at Neue Galerie New York are exceptionally proud of our eighteen-year partnership with The Perlman Music Program. With a world-class faculty led by Toby and Itzhak Perlman, The Perlman Music Program is developing future leaders of classical music within a nurturing and supportive community. The Works in Progress series gives these exceptional young artists a safe space to explore their voice and perfect their craft. Please note that no advance registration is required to view the performance, which will remain online on demand for two weeks. Each Works in Progress performance is being offered at no charge, and we are so glad that we can connect and bring the community together with the power of music.
