| Christoph M. Schmidt is the current Chairman of the German Council of Economic Experts (Sachverständigenrat Wirtschaft). He is also President of the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in Essen, Germany and lectures in Economic Policy and Applied Econometrics at Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany.
His field of research lies in applied econometrics with a recent focus on macroeconomic questions related to energy, health, and labor market policy. |
