Behind-the-Scenes @ Radio City Music Hall, Art Deco Masterpiece

8th March 2020 @ 2:15 pm - 4:00 pm

While over 300 million people have enjoyed performances at Radio City over the past 80 years, only a small number can say they’ve explored every inch of the art deco masterpiece — now’s your chance to get up close and personal with one of the world’s most famous venues in a way few have ever before.

Join New York Adventure Club for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour at Radio City Music Hall — also known as America’s “Showplace of the Nation,” this stunning art deco music hall is one of the country’s most famous, and headquarters of the world-famous Rockettes®.

Led by a Radio City Music Hall docent, our special trip through one of the country’s leading concert halls — which is not available to the public — will include:

  • The history of how the largest indoor theatre in the world was created during the Great Depression, and the ways in which it has evolved over the years, both in its structure and performance offerings
  • An exploration of the Music Hall’s famous art deco spaces located throughout the building, including the magnificent Grand Foyer, auditorium, and elegant lounges
  • behind-the-scenes trip to special areas such as the lighting booth/projection room
  • visit to the famed Roxy Suite, the former private apartment of the Hall’s impresario, Samuel “Roxy” Rothafel, complete with 20-foot gold leaf ceiling and quilted mahogany paneled walls
  • The opportunity to meet, and take a photo with, a Radio City Rockette

Our VIP experiences with Radio City Music Hall are organized on select dates and times when the best possible access of the facility is available!
