Berkeley College: Brooklyn Botanical Garden

Please see below for our next virtual event, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden! Founded in 1910, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden is a stunning 52-acre garden in the heart of Brooklyn. It features over 14,000 species of plants, but is most famous for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, where the garden is taken over by pink blossoms from more than 200 trees. This springtime celebration each April comes from a centuries-old Japanese custom of viewing the flowers to reflect on life’s beauty and transience.
