Exclusive After-Hours Tour @ New-York Historical Society
March 29 @ 5:00 pm
Step inside NYC’s oldest museum after it closes to the public to see its most historic rooms and exhibitions without the crowds.
Join New York Adventure Club for an exclusive after-hours tour of the New-York Historical Society, the oldest museum in New York City (1804) that predates the founding of the Metropolitan Museum of Art by nearly seventy years.
Led by one of the Museum collections expert, our special after-hours exploration at the New-York Historical Society will include:
- A tour of the museum’s permanent collections including Gallery of Tiffany Lamps, which features 100 illuminated Tiffany lamps and Meet the Presidents, which showcases a detailed re-creation of the White House Oval Office
- A trip to the traveling exhibitions on display that evening (see below for the full lineup!)
- An exclusive visit to the famed Patricia D. Klingenstein Library reading room, one of the oldest and most distinguished in the United States featuring Neoclassical architecture and soaring 50-foot ceilings
See you there!
