Germany’s Influence on New York

Germany’s influence on New York from the 17th century through the 60’s will be highlighted  with extra emphasis on the 30’s to the 60’s.Kathy Jolowicz keeps German heritage alive as a Division Marshall and PR committee member of the German American Steuben Parade and a member of the Steuben Society. The St. Michael’s event will be a stop in Germany on a trip around the world. This special presentation will feature Germany. The impact of Germany on New York City is not often discussed at events. This unique experience, which is free of charge, will offer apple strudel and other treats and beverages, as part of a fun and informative trip into German culture and influence. The organizers urge anyone with any interest in Germany or its history and language to join the event. The Queens Gazette Newspaper has written about the presentation several times.
