One to World: Christmas Brunch in an American Home

Are you looking for a place to spend Christmas day? Join one of One to World hosts in Dobbs Ferry, NY for Christmas brunch in her home with a group of international students and scholars! This is Maggie Bangser’s fourth year of hosting students for a Christmas brunch at her home. She started this program when she returned to the States after living in East Africa for 25 years, so she knows what it’s like to be away from home during the holidays. For this reason, she is opening her home on Christmas to anyone that is looking for a place to get together. She’s very excited to welcome a group from around the world into her home for the holiday, for a day filled with cultural exchange, tasty food, and great conversation. Maggie is a vegetarian, so she will be preparing a full vegetarian meal for everyone to enjoy. People of all backgrounds are encouraged to join as this won’t be a religious celebration. Families with children are also welcomed. Don’t miss out on this unique Christmas experience! Date: Wednesday, December 25th Time: 12:00 – 4:00 PM (approximately) Cost: FREE (vegetarian brunch will be provided) You will have to purchase a round-trip Metro North train ticket from Grand Central to Dobbs Ferry, NY on the morning of the program, which cost about $20.
