Pace University: Fall 2020 Orientation

Thank you for joining us for the upcoming fall semester at Pace University! We hope the next ten weeks are exciting for you as you study with us. Below is some important information regarding your course at Pace University. Please make sure to read through this carefully.

Activate your Pace Account

In order to participate in this course, you will need to activate your Pace Account, Access your Pace Email and Blackboard. Please use the instructions in the attached document from “New Student Account Orientation” Once you activate your account, you will need to access your Pace Email and Blackboard for updates and emails from your Instructor and our office.

Course Format

The course will take approximately 4 ½ each week to complete. Each week you will have a mandatory live class session that is 2 hours and 15 minutes long. To find out which time your class is meeting you must login to Blackboard and check your class schedule. Your instructor will post the schedule for the class that you are registered for.

The remaining 2 hours and 15 minutes of class time will be asynchronous class work that you will work on outside of the live class hours. Students will participate in activities that can be done individually and on the student’s own schedule.

The Pace login for Blackboard is http://blackboard.pace.edu/ you must use your Pace credentials you activated above to login.

Online Orientation

A live orientation is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23 at 4pm in local German time.
