Screening: El Padrino

El Padrino could not be more timely. It dramatizes a family fleeing ICE agents. Nor could it boast of a more unique or dynamic star than Christopher Alvarez. He is severely disabled. We have a strong supporting cast, including the Colombian actor, Alejandro Aguilar who was featured in Netflix’s El Chapo.
We also have a rocking soundtrack with music from Cuban pop star Leslie Cartaya. We will have two screenings on consecutive Sundays in September, the 22nd and the 29th. Both will be at DCTV, 87 Lafayette Street. We will have a cocktail reception from 6 to 7 and then the screening at 7. I hope you will be able to attend.
