Spring 2021: Little Italy and Chinatown

Please see below for your integrated semester abroad’s virtual tour this week – walking tours through Little Italy and Chinatown, two of Manhattan’s most famous neighborhoods.

Little Italy was formed in the 1880’s as immigrants from Naples and Sicily flooded the area. Now, the neighborhood is world famous and its authentic pasta dishes, served by the best Italian restaurants, can’t be beat. Chinatown, on the other hand, is home to one of the largest populations of Chinese immigrants in the western hemisphere. Visitors to Chinatown should come hungry and work their way through the endless dim sum palaces, dumpling dens, and noodle joints.
