Symphony of Now

‘Symphony of Now’ is transformed into a virtual cinema environment in this augmented reality experience for audiences at home. Accompanied by Berlin DJ Alex.Do. mixing the soundtrack live this event will captivate lovers of film, Berlin, and electronic music alike.

Prior to the screening, a very special live Q&A session will be hosted with the artist Alex.Do, the film producer Brendan Shelper, director Johannes Schaff, and the Deputy Chief of Mission at the German Embassy Ricklef Beutin.

About the film ‘Symphony of Now’ (2018)
A cinematic love letter, a hidden perspective of Berlin by night. Different artists unite to declare their love to the city and our time, in a re-imagination of the silent film classic ‘Berlin – Symphony of a Great City’. A vision of remarkable filmmakers and renowned musicians from the electronic music scene, such as Frank Wiedemann (Ame), Modeselektor, Hans-Joachim Roedelius, Gudrun Gut, Samon Kawamura.
