Taste of Iceland

Icelandic chef Georg Arnar Halldórsson will fly to New York City to collaborate with American chef Stephan Ilnyckyj to create a delicious Icelandic dinner menu at the Norman Restaurant in Brooklyn. Chef Georg has spent the last three years as Head Chef at Restaurant Kolabrautin, located at the famous Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik. He recently joined some of the best Icelandic chefs to open two new restaurants in the same complex: Sumac and Óx. Chef Stephan is the executive chef at Norman where he incorporates a Scandinavian technique with New York’s fresh local ingredients. Together, the two chefs will prepare a delicious four-course prix fixé menu for the event.
No meal is complete without a tasty cocktail alongside it! Icelandic mixologist Teitur Ridderman Schiöth, will also concoct some unique cocktails featuring Iceland’s favorite vodka, Reyka Vodka, and the one-of-a-kind aquavit, Brennivin, to pair perfectly with your dinner.
