Starting at 72nd Street, Tony Cragg will take guests on a one-hour tour, where guests can ask questions about his works. The tour will end at The Whitby Hotel, where guests can enjoy a drinks reception.
Tony Cragg’s sculptures are featured in Haymarket Hotel and a special piece was commissioned for the exterior of Ham Yard Hotel.

SIR TONY CRAGG, CBE:
Tony Cragg was born in Liverpool, England, and has lived and worked in Wuppertal, Germany, since 1977. He has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Barnett Newman Foundation Award in 2016; the Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, (CBE) in 2016, the Rheinischer Kulturpreis, Sparkassen Kulturstiftung, Rhineland in 2013; the Cologne Fine Art Award in 2012; the prestigious Praemium Imperiale Award, Tokyo in 2007, he represented Britain at the 43rd Venice Biennale in 1988, and the same year was awarded the Turner Prize at the Tate Gallery, London. He served as Director of the Kunstakademie, Dusseldorf, after having been a Professor there since 1988. There have also been many important solo-exhibitions of Cragg’s work worldwide.
MARIAN GOODMAN GALLERY:
For forty years, the Marian Goodman Gallery has played an important role in introducing European artists to American audiences and helping to establish a vital dialogue among artists and institutions working internationally. The Marian Goodman Gallery was founded in New York City in late 1977. In 1995 the Gallery expanded to include an exhibition space in Paris and in 2014 an exhibition space in London. In 2016 her dream of opening a bookstore with additional gallery space was realized in Paris. Ms Goodman, a New Yorker has used her Gallery to show artists who are leaders of their generation, including Sir Tony Cragg CBE.
