Events: German Artists & Films for the New Year

• German artists at the New Museum
  “The Art Happens Here: Net Art’s Archival Poetics,” presented by Rhizome at the NEW MUSEUM, will take a groundbreaking approach to net art history from 1985 to today, on view from January 22 to May 26, 2019.
• Six German Films showing at the 8th Annual Winter Film Awards International Film Festival, starting on February 14, 2019.
  The 8th Annual Winter Film Awards International Film Festival runs February 14-23, 2019, and includes awesome film screenings, cool discussion panels, career-building professional development workshops and super-fun parties at venues throughout NYC. The event concludes on February 23rd with a glittering awards ceremony and hot red carpet gala at NYC’s premier nightclub. We are proud to screen 89 outstanding films from 32 countries in all genres, shorts and features, including drama, romance, comedy, horror, animation, documentary, music videos and web series including six fantastic films from Germany.
