FashionLab goes one step beyond being a consultancy and sales
agency: We are the brand Ambassadors in North America for international fashion
houses with unique and exclusive collections. We believe that every
fashion brand is different and, therefore, need a tailor-made business
strategy. We look to partner with fashion companies to define and execute the right and most successful
expansion in the North American market.
Please note that you shall be available from the
8th of July to the 30th of September.
We are looking for a hands-on passionate fashion
lover that wants to learn about this business.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Provide research on potential and existing
clients and the competitive landscape.
– Managing and following up on digital marketing
campaigns.
– Assist in identifying potential business
opportunities.
– Keeping Showroom image presentable
(merchandising of the samples, steaming….
– Facilitate & track sample send
outs/returns.
– Help with order entering and filing.
– Assist showroom executives in sales
appointments.
– Participating in trade shows such as Coterie
and Fashion Week.
– Assist with coordinating special events and
mailings.
-Responsibilities may be supplemented with
special projects and tasks that may come up.
Requirements:
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate
effectively as a team member.
– Ability to communicate at all levels with internal/external clients by phone,
email, and face to face.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
– A positive attitude with good organizational, presentation and writing
skills.
– Pursuing a Bachelors Degree or equivalent education.
– Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize the work
day.
– Must be available a minimum of 4 days a week, preferably for a full day.
This position is unpaid although school credit is available.
It’s a must to stay from July until end of September.
