POSITION SUMMARY:
The PVH Corp. Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship experience for college students. Students are placed in a department as active associates to receive hands on training and experience in the fashion industry. Interns participate in formal training classes, community service, and some exposure to senior management.The intern candidate will have exposure to the following:
Raw Material Daily Activities:
-Learn the day to day functions of the New York Raw Material team
-Understand the Raw Material supplier base and Fabric Sourcing Strategy
-Understand the importance of Raw Materials in delivering the best quality -production to our consumer
-Understand how information regarding Raw Materials flows to other cross functional team members
-Understand how decisions are made in selecting fabric in the design and development of product |

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Education: College student
Skills:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work as a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Available to work full time for 10 uninterrupted weeks in the summer starting from
June 4, 2018 to August 10, 2018
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Interest in pursuing a career in the apparel industry strongly preferred
